Welcome to my practice!
My practice focuses on helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen their connection with others, with their values, and with their internal experience. I help people notice ways in which they have become disconnected from what and from whom matters most to them.
Together we work as a team to redefine what life can look like when we are freed from the narratives and behaviors that hold us back. My approach is grounded in evidence-based psychotherapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.
In addition to my clinical work, I have trained and supervised trainees in my role as a Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated) of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. I provide workshops and clinical consultation to clinicians in interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
"Everyone is a complicated human being, and everyone is strong and weak and funny and scared."
